I phone to ask if they sold window winders, and received a quick yes, and when I described the winder I needed, received a nervous "I'm not sure, I'll put you through to Donna" and was put on hold for over 6 minutes until I hung up. I drove to the Burnie store, found the winder I needed but there were no black ones on the shelves. Asked the front counter if they had any black in stock, and yes, 17 apparently. 'Donna' then appeared and in passing by said stock must be on its way. The young girl then referred me to the special orders counter in the middle of the store to order some in. The short version - they don't order stock in for individuals, I was told to keep checking in to see if they had arrived. At my request they called Dport Bunnings and found 7 in their stock. They couldn't hold them for me, and I couldn't pay for them at Burnie store. This is typical of most experiences at Bunnings. Poor service by ignorant employees who don't know their job. It's sad to have seen so many friendly local family businesses who offered excellent service, have to sell up or close down due to this big bully of a company that takes over each city one by one. I'll avoid Bunnings at any cost from now.

Found everything here that I expected to find :) Bunnings is the best hardware store by a mile.

Just been to bunnings in burnie love your stores but would be handy if you had prices on things instead of the customers have to find someone who has to scan it so annoying. Cheers Dave

For answering calls is totally bad! I waited more than 20 minutes being shifted from one line to another person And have not got my query solved. This is Australia we should be on top of calls were not 4th world country. Overall a 5 ☆ politeness so that was good
