We were lucky to get a room, as school holidays. This place is great. Very comfy bed, soap, shampoo, tea and coffee facilities, towels and air conditioning. Close to all amenities, including Bundy hospital. Great service as well.nThank you for having us, considering it was a last minute booking. Definitely recommend, this awesome establishment.
Stayed at the Spanish Motor Inn, in Bundaberg, for 6 days! So glad we book to stay there - great location, friendly and approachable staff, room offered us exactly what we needed, without being over the top - fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster, fridge, crockery etc., plus lovely hot water, in shower as well at kitchen, comfortable bed, good space in the room for luggage etc., and our car parked in front of our room. The Motor Inn was busy, but I must say very quite, no disturbances day or night. Well done Spanish Motor Inn, we would definitely stay there again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend others check it out.
Lovely room and facilities. It will be a lot quieter than the other accomodations on the main road, Bourbong Street. Friendly and helpful receptionist. The walls do seem to be very thin and I could hear a microwave etc going. Thankfully my neighbors were quiet by 8 or 9pm.
Very clean, tidy and the rooms have everything you need. The location is perfect, it felt welcoming, private and secure. A street over is the Bundy Hospital and also many food choices. Absolutely no noise from the main road or local services.nLovely staff, very clean grounds and pool was great. We would highly recommend and would stay again.
I had to cancel last minute due to not being able to make it to Bundaberg at all. I let them know as soon as I could, but it was less than 24 hours notice. They kept half of our money for...holding a room that they did not sell up until a week ago anyways, I booked a trip for my wife last minute as well. If I would have booked directly, they would not have collected any money until arrival, I made the mistake of prepaying through booking.com. They rejected a full refund first thing in the morning, that they could have easily approved, if they chose to. It is probably a nice motor lodge but I would choose a different place next time that might be more reasonable and accomidating to their traveling customers, when experiencing unforseen travel related curcumstances. I understand that businesses have policies, but they make no exceptions, in my experience. It was a lower demand Sunday night and Monday night reservation. A small business that only puts dollars before people is not one that I would support in the future. I wish I could report a better experience.nnUPDATE regarding owner's response: Owner accused me of blackmailwith my own money lol. I did not blackmail him, I requested a refund...he denied it, I asked him to reconsider and make an exception, he denied it, and I then said I was not sorry to share my experience online. He lied and told me he was completely full and that he was taking a loss of the room and my booking was the reason he was turning people away and not letting others stay longer.... l when I checked booking.com for that night, he had 7 of 12 rooms available. He assumed i just changed my mind when I told him we were having travel related issues. He just wanted to keep my money because I prepaid, and he did. He could have done me a favor and approved a refund but he choose not to.
