Budget Car & Truck Rental Brighton

Good service at desk and got a free upgrade because their website allowed us to book a car that wasn't available.

Worst customer service I have experienced , walked in to the car rental reception to see an argument between a receptionist and two customers, one man being unprofessional by behaving sarcasticly and arguing back and forth with the customer. I then wanted to rent a car however I wasn't sure if a p2 licensed driver could hire a rental. The lady processing the rental had failed to check the identification process and had realised too late that I could not. However the transaction had already been complete, Budget need to work on their customer service in Gardenvale, it is a must!

Cheap and nasty service, booked a truck over the phone for a pick up at 8 am on Sunday and got a call on my way to pick it up saying that its not there and won't be available until 12 pm! They said someone should have called you yesterday to let you know, I got no phone call and was left high and dry with no attempt at a resolution. They are called Budget for a reason, they suck!

Staff were great upon arrival, took me through how to use the truck lift and all the other features. I returned the truck without enough diesel (didnt know how to fill the tank- it's different to a car) so they met me down at the servo and showed me how to refill it, saving me the rental return refill surcharge. Really appreciated! Only not giving 5 stars as there was an issue with me being charged for an additional 500km mileage. Took a while to sort that out on the phone.
