Budget Car And Truck Rental Southbank

I rent plenty of buses all round the country and Budget Southbank have provided the best service I've seen from a car rental business. On one occasion I had to shuttle 2 buses across Melbourne. It would have taken a few hours and cost me a taxi fare, so the owner drove one, I drove the other and a staff member picked us up in car. During the next rental I took the mirror off a bus and got back to the depot 1 minute before closing time. Hasi behind the counter processed my paperwork after hours, and filled the bus up with diesel. The repair costs were very reasonable. Thanks for such fantastic service.

They are really slow to get through customers. I have rented in North America and the process is much quicker. Not sure why it can't be done there. The man in the shop was rude when i returned the car.

TERRIBLE SERVICE and so rude! Called up Budget Southbank today (01/02/2018) on behalf of company I work for to enquirie about hiring a van. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the rude woman I spoke with! I simply asked what the condition of the van was in as it was for a corporate excursion. The woman salcastically answered “what do you mean the condition”! I asked again a bit annoyed and she rudely replied “well we don’t hire out bombs”! At this stage I was ticked and said “that’s fine I’ll use Hertz if you prefer” and she went on to say “go for it”. So unesasarily rude and unhelpful! I asked to speak to the manager and she just hung up! I called straight back twice and she obviously picked up and just hung up! Worst service!!! I will never use Budget for anything again! These guys in Southbank are a joke!

So unprofessional. The chap on the counter was serving and half way through started to deal with another customer and left me standing. He then asked another woman to complete the transaction and then when there was a problem with payment, she decided to pick up the phone and deal with a different customer. So unprofessional. Never again shall I deal with Budget.
