Budget Car and Truck Rental Highett

A nice place to hire a vehicle, we hired a car that had hardly any issues and was a perfect drive. One downside to this business is the lack of security for your details, the person who rented before us had their credit card stamped onto their agreement and then once they were gone, their card number and all their information was left in the open for all of us to see. I could clearly see all their details!, they certainly require security upgrades as these paper agreements are NOT a secure way to handle a persons information, especially credit card details. Other than that issue, we have had no problems.

Poor experience, customer service is non existent, charged above costs set out on the website and ended up with an unroadworthy vehicle. Recommend you head to the nearest competitor. No excuses for Budget to be running a yard like this. It clearly has escaped view of head office. It would appear that they are deleting reviews as I note a few of the negative 1star reviews have been reviewed.

Recently hired a van for 3 days mid week and I was able to have the independence that I needed to get around town without struggling on public transport on crutches . Such a good feeling to be driving again after a year without a vehicle.:) Happy with the service provided by Budget Car and Truck Rentals.

Do not follow up calling customer back very rude and demanding over the phone even when you havent hired a vehicle Also happy to over charge you without even letting you know extra charges are being charge to credit card
