Excellent classic New Zealand takeaways, including all types of burgers WITH beetroot. Hard to find in the City these days! The chips were about the best I’ve had in Wellington- nice and crispy.

Average service with average quality. The crumbed fish was dry and while considerably less cost, the battered fish was better quality. The chips were okay but nothing special. One young guy manning the counter and doing the cooking and another out the back, doing preparation I think!
Yum! I finally tried the cheese burger from this place really good! $8.50 so was doubtful but so so good with beetroot as well! Very well made :

I didn’t like the fish, it was really chewy didn’t feel well cooked and chips was okay.
Very pricey got 1 and half scoop of chips , thats not even enough for 2 people for 7 dollars its insane!
This is the best fish n chip shop in Wellington, maybe the whole of the north island. The customer service is impeccable, the food amazing and the prices fair, the lad who is usually behind the counter has great manners. big ups the mandem!
friendly and fast service. the burgers are nice but not the greatest better than most fish n chip shop burgers tho, the burgers could do with more sauce. the chips are nice and crunchy not soggy which is a plus but i would like to see a home cut style option. the potato fritters have a great potato to batter ratio. the fish is smaller than average but it makes up for length in thickness.
The store has a smelly Corrupt fish smell, the fried fish is very old and tastes like chicken. The food is not fresh. After patronizing for many years, the quality of food is getting worse and worse. Many local neighbourhoods no longer eat it and only deceive customers passing by.
