I used to love BurgerFuel as a substantial alternative to the standard fare, but as times change, BF has started to lag behind the competition and no seems mightily overpriced for their offerings. I stopped in to the Adelaide Road outlet to try the latest special - the Punk Rock Roast. I was hoping for a hit of the promised “rich hearty gravy” but unfortunately there was no hint of any gravy at all. The Motobites were flattened beyond recognition, the chicken was over cooked and the overpowering flavour was the cranberry sauce. Basically it was a cranberry burger. The only saving grace was the fries - crispy, salty and satisfying… just not $22 satisfying.
Like all Burger Fuel outlets..It's a messy beautiful meal. A go to place for a decent burger. The pineapple beetroot combined flavour is great...Food: 4/5
Burger fuel Newtown absolutely so impressed. Great burgers but my favorite is kumara fries oh the best!!. The service is always nice and we enjoy going there while staying in Newtown and hospital. Well done guys love it
Was turned away service at 8:30pm because they were too busy. Just spent 30 hours in the hospital and was just wanting a burger. Not cool guys. I cannot believed someone as bought up your entire nights stock already. I went to Sal’s Pizza instead. Such great service there.
Staff prepared the food with nothing covering their hair. One of the burgers was greasy and yuck. Extremely overpriced.
So yummm,,,and perfect to my taste in terms of spice and modifications. Manager should be appreciated for the cleanliness and maintainace of the store. Deserves more than 5 stars. Will come here over and over again. Cheers!
The burgers are consistently good, but how do you eat here with your kids an inherently messy meal which is delivered without serviettes? Need to stand up and ask for it, not convenient when you and your kids are dripping with burger grease.Food: 3/5
The C N Cheese taste good. The toasted sesame bun, ice berg lettuce, beef patty and cheese are a perfect combination. The kumara fries are a little bit salty but you can shake it off then enjoy it. The place is neat and plenty of parking inside the Countdown complex.
I've been to quite a few BurgerFuel's and this is one of the good ones in saying that, they're all a cut above other burger places. Chips were cooked too perfection, burger was fantastic as per usual. Staff were all lovely and very friendly. Highly recommend!
