Excellent location and environment. Lagoon pool is a touch on the cold side but the warm pools are excellent. Rooms are a little dated, but still do the job really well. Great coffee just outside and lots of restaurants around. Will be very sad to leave.
So much more than we were expecting! Central location across from the beach amazing beach. We had a lagoon room and swam every day. The room was a bit dated and the couch was awful, but the pluses outweighed the negatives. Good, cheap public transport right in front of the building. Staff informative and helpful.nnThe resort itself is just an outdoor dream. Spacious, clean, natural and even when busy, you can find a quiet corner.
The unit was very comfortable and clean, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a comfortable kitchen with enough space and utensils and okay space for a pantry, good size of balcony, aircon nice and cold, rooms were dark enough to keep us asleep, beds were comfy we brought our own pillows, but theirs were good too. With a great view to the ocean and also the pool!. With the balcony door close we couldn’t hear much from the outside.nnPool area was amazing and well mantained! A big long pool with 2 slides 1 on each end, and 2 warm pools with its own spa on each end as wellnnKids park was big enough for them to have a good play, walking to the beach and also having another park right next to the surf club.nnAlso the shops right infront of the hotel, was great!nnVery well located!!
The resort itself and our stay was great. Awesome location which is within walking distance to restaurants, cafes and shops. The pool is awesome & loved that you could go for a swim after dinner. We stayed in a 3 bedroom penthouse apartment. We decided to pay extra as our adult children came away with us and though having the bigger living space would be ideal. However the apartment we got was tiny. The living space consisted of 1 x 2 seater couch, a round dinning table with 6 chairs cramped into the corner and a kitchen that was so small it was difficult to cook for 2 let alone 6! It looked nothing like the pictures on their website. The only time we could sit together was on the balcony because we couldn't all fit in the living area. It looked like the standard 3 bedroom apartment. When I question our room I was told it a penthouse that had been freshly renovated. The bedrooms were good size. If your into fitness don't rely on the gym either. It is advertised as being state of the art gym facilities but it's very basic. They don't even have pairs of matching weight dumbbells and who knows where the sauna was!! I would not stay here again if given a choice.
PositivesnAppreciated the upgrade as a platinum member as I needed the washer dryer.ni enjoyed my stay and although I did not get my early check in when I arrived 1230pm, Calum did what he can.nNegativesnI did not get a welcome packwas told that it be there in my room as an Accor plus platinum member so I had to ask and Calum again mustered a few things including couple of complimentary coffees and a bottle of wine which again I appreciated. I had a 6am rise and back by 5pm everyday for next 6 days of stay.nThere was unfortunately only 1 day of house keeping as apparently they don’t do it which I did not know. Then again the housekeeping only made my bed and left new towels and hand towels that were used. The recycle rubbish I left near door was not cleared and toilets were not cleaned. There is no mention on the booking page that housekeeping is not provided or breaky or welcome drinks not provided under the Accor plus platinum umbrella.nThe internet was intermittent and did not work most times when I had to work on my computer which was frustrating as I had to use my phone data instead. Each apartment has its own modem and mine was blinking so assume the signal was not strong or needed troubleshooting but I was not there to be waiting on this after a long day. Yes I logged on with my Accor details for fast speed.nThere is no breaky option as I am a platinum member and expected it and I did not get to use my welcome drinks x 2 as there was no bar or affiliated place to use.nThe team were otherwise lovely.nBreakfree is like a service apartment located at a great location. It served most of my needs and came with washer dryer and dishwasher w liquid provided except in studios has no washer dryer.nIt just fell short w amenties and service.
