My husband and I recently spent a week at this beautiful resort. Fantastic location, lovely spacious and clean apartment overlooking the beach. Pool and spa were so nice and never crowded. Reception staff were very welcoming and always helpful. The bottle of wine and chocolates we received for our Silver Wedding Anniversary was very unexpected but most appreciated. Best place we've ever stayed on the Sunny Coast and this will be our go to spot from now on. Thank you all.
We recently stayed 2 nights at Oaks Seaforth Resort and overall, I would rate the experience at 3 stars, with one star given purely for the fantastic lagoon pool.nnFirst impressions were good! The reception staff were absolutely lovely and friendly, making check-in a smooth and welcoming process. The lagoon pool was a hit, especially for my daughter who had an amazing time. It would be great to see the resort incorporate a slide through the rocks for added fun for kids.nnHowever, the room was a disappointment. Upon entering, there was a strong stale smell that required us to air out the space, but unfortunately, the odor never fully dissipated, even with the AC running in the hot weather. The second bedroom lacked a fan or air conditioning, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. The bathroom had visible mould on the shower ceiling, and the overall room condition felt dated. Additionally, the TV did not work during our stay.nnThe wardrobes were also inconvenient, with no space for folded items and only 4 hangers per wardrobe, which was inadequate for our needs. Another unexpected surprise was that the main bed was actually two singles pushed together, which was not mentioned beforehand.nnWhile I understand that this isn’t a 5-star resort, as a family-friendly hotel, I expected better upkeep and comfort.
Overall nice stay. Friendly staff. Spacious room. good washer and dryer. The location is right by the beach. The public transportation is actually very good and can get you to many places including Australia zoo right in front of it though front desk didn’t seem to know this so it wasted a lot of my time figuring it out. The room is a bit outdated but overall comfortable. Nice and modern shower
Stayed one night and it was a great sized room and an excellent location. Swimming pools were a huge hit with the kids too.nHowever, two of the air conditioners stopped working in the middle of the night making it uncomfortable to sleep, and the spa in the room didn't work. For the cost I expected the room to be better maintained or the reception to at least show some level of care when they were told at check out.
Oaks has uniquely placed their hotels in the most amazing spots. This was no different. A weekend away to just stop and couldn't fault anything about the place. The room was amazing. The pools are gorgeous and just a short stroll from the beach and cafes and surf club. Perfect!
