My wife gave birth at this hospital and the care and treatment that she received was fantastic. The midwives and doctors are so caring and manage their time and priorities exceptionally well. I can't recommend this hospital enough and am really grateful to be close by. Additionally there are cafes in the hospital which provide a great variety of food and beverages and the quality is quite good.

Just amazing here! The staff are just so caring and supportive. (I'm so happy I got transferred here from the other hospital I was at!) No complaints at all.

Me and my wife had our first child here. We were so close to going to Monash Clayton Hospital and ended up going to Box Hill. WOW. I was amazed. All the doctors, mid-wives and everyone in between were extremely helpful. We have a really smooth delivery and the 3-4 days stayed at the hospital was no different to staying at a great hotel. Nice rooms, adjustable bets, wall mounted tv. It was an amazing experience with out new bub.. So cheers Box Hill Hospital. Solid work!

Most of the staff individually are fine (although quite a few of the older female staff spend more time gossiping than working), but as a unit or team, they're terrible. Communication severely lacking between staff members, and from staff to patients. Conflicting information constantly. Staff asking patients what they should be administering. Even managers aren't receptive to the feedback. They aren't gonna change.

Extremely disorganized staff, first I politely asked one of the nurse who is our assigned and the assigned nurse comes over and lecturers me that I should not be going around asking other nurses about such things, to which I politely said fine. Next they intentionally took an hour to bring a nausea calming wafer which could have been done immediately given my wife condition. Next they came and took her blood sample.. after another hour another nurse comes over saying that the blood collected earlier was cloated and they have to collect again. Fine.. They collect a small sample .. and then half hour later inform us that earlier sample was okay and nothing in the blood test. And then the doctor discharged us by prescribing paracetamol for nausea. Not a doctor, but paracetamol for nausea and heart burn, seriously!
