I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to Nurse Sue from the Cardiology Department at Box Hill Hospital for the exceptional care she provided to my mother during her recent coronary angiogram.nnFrom the moment we arrived, Sue treated my mother with kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. She took the time to explain things clearly, answer our questions, and provide reassurance during what was a stressful and uncertain time for our family.nnWhat touched us most was her genuine concern for our wellbeing. Although bypass surgery was only a possibility and no decision had been made, Sue thoughtfully provided us with information and brochures for us to take home and read. This helped us gain a better understanding of the procedure and gave us the opportunity to learn more at our own pace, which greatly eased our concerns and uncertainty.nnWe were also deeply moved when, the following day, Sue arranged for a Chinese-speaking colleague to call us. The call not only checked on the condition of my mother's wrist wound after the angiogram, but also ensured that we could communicate comfortably in our native language and have our concerns properly understood. This level of care and attention meant so much to us.nnThe kindness, empathy, and dedication shown by Sue went far beyond our expectations. She made what could have been a very frightening experience feel manageable and supported. We are incredibly grateful for the care my mother received and would like to extend our sincere thanks to Sue and the entire cardiology team at Box Hill Hospital.nnThank you for making such a positive difference to our family's experience. Staff like Sue are a true credit to Box Hill Hospital, and we feel very fortunate to have been cared for by someone so dedicated and compassionate.
Outstanding maternity service and great facilities at Boxhill hospital.nnI went to Boxhill hospital from the start of my pregnancy and then eventually childbirth gave birth 2 weeks ago. I had an incredibly positive experience from start to finish, where I was consistently taken care of by all the lovely midwives and doctors, who were all professional, respectful and looked out for me every step of the way.nnThis is my first pregnancy so I was naturally quite anxious not knowing what to expect. However I received so much support from the midwives who guided me and gave me reassurance while I was nervous. I was never rushed at all during my appointments and was given lots of space and time to ask questions.nnWhen it was finally time to give birth, I was admitted into a comfortable and spacious private suite. Although the birthing experience was unpleasant requiring me to be induced and then an emergency c-section, I received the best care possible in the prenatal ward with multiple midwives and doctors coming in to check on me the entire time. Everything went smoothly in the end and I delivered a beautiful baby boy.nnI was given a private suite to stay for a few more days to recover from the surgery. The postpartum ward felt a bit more stressful than the prenatal ward, with midwives coming in and out throughout the day and night to check on the baby especially after a c section, but they tried their best to accommodate our needs. The food was pretty good too!nnI am forever grateful for the exceptional care, service and hospitality I received at Boxhill hospital. Thank you to all the incredible people who made my experience a smooth one.
The team of midwives and obstetricians are extraordinary at Box Hill Hospital. My antenatal, birth, and postnatal care was sensational. The midwives in particular were incredibly supportive, warm, and attentive in their care. Highly recommend BH Hospital maternity services.
Phenomenal Hospital, I have been here alot for different issues with wait times of less than 3 hours. Recently got my Appendix Removed here Laparoscopic Appendectomy, The Anaesthesiologist & Surgeons were very Nice. After Surgery the Nurses provided amazing Care, Checking Vitals every 2 hours. I hope to never need to attend the hospital but if I do then 100% BHH ER.
