Let me be straight - if you're going for food it's good. But don't expect to have any customer service! We had to ask for high chair twice before we even got one. Ordered saffron rice and apparently they didn't have any colour and we saw a guy walking out and buying one. Main course arrived first and Nan's took another 10 minutes, which was disappointing because food was cold by the time. Had to call the waiter a few times to get the second nan. No servicing spoons with food again disappointing. No tissues at the table either Most people ordered take away and now I know probably why.
Food is way better than other branches of Bonfire Cafe around Melbourne. Usually mild taste suitable for everyone but customize spices when ordering your food. Suitable sitting for 50-70 people. Food service need approx 20-30 minutes before they will serve you. Good thing is its freshly cooked. Can't say that food has extra ordinary taste, much like all most other Pakistani restaurants.
Good food but damn slow! Lots of people left due to waiting too long. Also couldn't canceled our last dishes and they said we couldn't because it's cooked. 30 minutes late no sight of food.... bad management in the kitchen if any
This restaurant really deserves 5 stars comparing to other restaurants I have visited so far in Melbourne. Firstly for the young female waitress great customer service welcoming and friendly and caring towards all customers and no doubt for all foods you order fresh tasty and resonable prices, Place is very neat and clean. I highly recommend them to others and must try chicken tandoori and lamb tikka. The best Pakistani restaurant in Melbourne.
I recently celebrated my daughter's first birthday at this restaurant and it was perfect. The food was amazing, the service was prompt and the over all experience was great. A big shout out to Shahid bhai and Usman for great service and thanks to the entire team. Keep up the good work.
Worst service I have ever got .. first thing their phone doesn’t work ,r u kidding me a restaurant without a working phone, how I am suppose to place an order and when I got to the shop I stood there for 15 minutes no one came to take me order. It took 25 minutes and the food was horrible,it was definitely microwaved , went straight to the bin. Disgusting never going there again.
Ordered through Menulog, thought its local and we should try it out. I am of Indian background so fair to say I know my curries. Terrible food, half cooked curry with milk in it. Biryani was fiery hot even though I had specified mild to medium. Only good thing - Naan bread and cheaper than most other local restaurants. Wont be going there ever and wouldn’t recommend it. Suggestions for the restaurant - please get a proper chef or cook before you food poison someone.
Staff were not interested in customers at all. 2menus were provided for table of 8. Waiter just drops off the plates of food at the corner of our table. If going in a group they will serve all the Naan bread together in a basket. We counted 1 naan bread short. They happily provided the extra naan but this is common. Portions are below average compared to other places.
We have had food a few time from here, the food tastes good. It is quite oily for my taste tho. We had Biriyani from here and I must say, it was below par. They claimed it was dum Biriyani, I didn't think so especially with boneless chicken
I have been a customer for bonfire cafe for ages now. Used to go from cranbourne to Springvale for food and was happy when u guys opened in Berwick. Food has been amazing so far but today was a nightmare and an absolute pathetic experience. I ordered something for take away and it took 70 mins to get the food and little that you know the food was awful. Tandoori chicken and karahi chicken didn't taste alright. Half cooked nans did some more damage. To add to it , the lady at the counter didn't even apologise and she asked me twice if I want to cancel my order. She was arrogant and definitely needs some customer service skills. I have been a manager for a telstra store for quiet a while and if I treat my customers like this, I will not have the business at all. Thanks for spoiling the night and will think twice before coming again.
