Left the chemist today 1 March 2023 quite disappointed. I went in to get Panadol for kids and the lady communicated that there's been a price hike and I reciprocated the conversation by stating that there seems to be a shortage too. Then as she put in the amount on the debit machine, it was for $34.95 - reluctantly tapped my card for the charge as I desperately needed it for my child who is sick with a fever. I didn't question it due to the rush, but left dismayed and in disbelief with such a price hike over $10 of industry price for children's panadol. This independent price hike warrants a possible reportable situation.
Wouldn’t issue a script as I was told there were no repeats, despite it showing one remaining. Went down the road and got prescription filled at another pharmacy. Service is too slow.
Have been in twice and both times the pharmacist has tried to upsell me on vitamin B as a cure for depression offering potentially dangerous advice for long term users of SSRI's. Additionally when informed my vitamin B levels were fine she continued to tell me biomedical honours student at Melbourne university that vitamin B levels couldn't be tested which is a flat lie. Significant up charge too on medication. You're better taking a little extra time and going to the Chemist warehouse on Sturt street.
Incompetent staff, out of date stock and terrible service. Worst pharmacy I’ve ever visited. Reading the reviews I should have realised - appalling For a pharmacist to push beliefs over health and well-being and refuse service Drive an extra 2 min down the road for help from an actual pharmacy.
Was looking for a specific cold sore product for my partner who said this pharmacy stocked it. Cheryl was so polite and friendly she also recommended a great moisturizer for dry skin. Thanks again will be back!
Went in for a cold and flu tablet. The attendant only offered me an expensive natural medicine, which she took from a shelf and headed for the counter without showing it to me or telling me how much it was. She was then very rude when I elected to buy Codral instead. She said, rather judgementally, “we never use that stuff here” and was brusque to me throughout the whole payment process. Would not recommend this pharmacy unless you are able to push for what you want and don’t mind rude staff!
I do not recommend this pharmacy. My husband purchased childrens panadol aged 1 month - 12 months on 18 March 2021. This was a just in case purchase to have when we needed it. Of course we needed it late one evening and that's when we realised it had expired in April 2021. Not only did they sell a product with a few weeks before expiring, it was also very expensive. Unacceptable!!!!
Really poor customer service. This pharmacy never deliver my Webster packs and make horrible excuses. Extremely hard to get into contact with at their landline phone is always inactive. NEVER COME HERE AGAIN
Terrible pharmacy. Rude staff and the pharmacist refused me the morning after pill because she is religious. I respect her right to believe what she wants but when you are a health professional you are there to do the right thing by the patient – and it’s my right to that medication. By the sounds of the other reviews, it’s not just sexual health she’s judgey about. Go 5min down the road to any other chemist and you’ll be able to find a pharmacist who actually does their job rather than casting unsolicited judgement on you
Worst pharmacy I've been to - take my advice and avoid this travesty of a pharmacy. Went in for a simple nasal decongestant for my girlfriend, 5 minutes later the pharmacist tried to sell us some dodgy natural therapy nasal spray that contains colloid silver, which is apparently dangerous to your health according to the FDA. She was being incredibly pushy and we eventually ended up buying it no receipt was given, nor did she ever ask if we wanted one, only to come back later and ask for them to replace it with a normal nasal spray. Avoid this place, dodgiest pharmacy ever. Rude service, pharmacist who think they know more than doctors, dodgy tactics and products.
