Great food, delicious and flavorful! I tried the same food when I visited here for second time and the pita bread was raw. I can taste the dough like texture and taste : The person sitting next to me also ordered the same thing and had same problem I hope this won’t happen again :D Also tried the dinner here. It was a bit too oily but overall it was nice A bit noisy here during day time but pretty chill and comfortable at night!
I’ve visited them a couple of times before. And every visit has left me craving more. This recent visit was no different. The coffee was good, but the chilli scrambled eggs were exceptional. The eggs were more than perfectly, expertly cooked. The yogurt wasn’t over-powering. Just the right amount of pumpkin. And the pickled green was a metaphorical cherry on top! Can’t wait for my next trip to Melbourne.
Recently went to Melbourne and found this little gem! I say little but it is actually a good size venue. We loved it so much we had brunch 4 days out of 6! I am in love with the Cauliflower and Kale salad with poached eggs. Vegetables have never tasted so good!!! You must try it before it leaves the menu! My partner had a few different items, all of them delicious but his favourite was the pretzel with avocado and poached eggs. The service was divine, one of the ladies even recognised us each time which was really lovely. Something that a lot of places in Australia do not do.....there are places in Brisbane that I regularly frequent and the staff never acknowledge that I have been there before.....if only they knew the effect this has on us! Nothing bad to say. Praying they are still there when I go back with the same salad on the menu. The best brunch I've had EVER!!!!
The restaurant is beautiful and has great interiors. Their high ceiling, arched windows and lovely greenery create a wonderful vibe to the place. Its a lovely brunch spot in the Melbourne cbd. Great ambience and food with good portion size. The coffee is average. Recommend booking in advance as the place generally gets busy or is booked out especially during weekends or holidays.
Unbelievable experience in this beautiful Cafe/restaurant. Not even I enjoyed bite by bite of my brunch, also, enjoyed the way staff have humor and lovely chatting mood. Every second my partner and I spent there was with good feeling. Also, their coffee is one of the best coffee in Melbourne. Thank you
Despite the ambience and the vibe are good for coffee, you can skip the food . The focus here is coffee and catch up with friends. Not impressed of the food. The ricotta hotcake is quite good but portion is rather huge for one person. The seared pork scotch is rather too bland. Overall is good and cafe is good. Enjoy the vibe and coffee more than food. The waitress is attentive but as if rushing you out by clearing your plate despite there were food still on the plate.
Great attentive service and amazing ambience. This cafe has plenty of interesting takes on staple cafe food. Found very clever combining pretzels with avocado. Whilst they do fancy dishes up. They most importantly make delicious meals. Special mention to the coffee, this place certainly serves good coffee!! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Melbourne.
Yes, the ricotta hotcakes live up to the hype. If you’re in Melbourne you have to visit this cafe! The interior was beautifully decorated and very unique as it is set in an old warehouse. We booked a table for two and I would still recommend you to as there was a line out the door. We ordered the ricotta hotcakes and the eggs Benedict. The hotcakes were enough to feed an army, and the eggs Benedict was delicious albeit a bit too salty. A great experience overall.
The food was fantastic! Presentation was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food did take over 40 minutes to arrive as it was busy. A nice environment to meet friends and family for a nice meal and get some photos that look fancy. Highly recommend Good job guys!
Love their ricotta hotcake. Huge portion, though. I can never finish it by myself, sharing is the way to go. Coffee is excellent. Place is always busy, sometimes it’s hard to get someone to take your order. One of my favourite places to get coffee in Melbourne.
