Absolutely well worth heading inland a short distance while travelling along the Capricorn Highway. The road ascends quite quickly with awesome views and lots of rocks and native bush alongside the road was picturesque. All tracks were easy to walk and I particularly enjoyed visiting the Rainbow Falls. Would love to come back someday to stay at the camping ground and explore further.

What a beautiful place. Camping here was lovely. Facilities are well maintained. Campsites are fairly private. Been here twice over the last year and loved it even more the second time. Some great spots to hike to. Highly recommend making the hike out to Rainbow Falls, you will not regret it.

Awesome place, ancient sandstone escarpments, aboriginal art, flowing creeks, swimming waterhole, access road steep but good, mountain top roads rough but driveable, very remote so expect a wilderness experience
