A great spot to enjoy the trees and orchids in the presence of glorious trees!
A beautiful park filled with beautiful mature trees, plants, and great walks. There is a playground for the kids and an off leash area for your fur babies.
Was Illuminate tonight. The gardens were lit up with coloured lights and sculptures and decorations. Was pretty but no near as good as it was when it was at the Botanical Gardens. Ridiculous amount of people barging their way through. But the weather was great and cool and it's awesome to see an event like that in Mackay.
Queens park is lovely. It has toilets and 3 great play areas set up for different ages kids. The playground is not fenced. Nice seating for parents.
I used to love coming here as a child because there was so much to do. It seems so boring nowadays. Sure, it's been done up but it's not as good as it used to be.
