The beer at Black Hops is superb. Great range of standards and interesting varieties. Staff were great. This is well worth a visit and get a take away growler while you are at it!!! Will definitely be back!!!

Amazing service and fantastic locally brewed beers. Something for every taste and an awesome little tastings bar. Definitely need to visit this little gem 🤗

The beer they create at blackhops brewery is outstanding, as is their ethos to its prduction. They dont use bottles, but instead minimise their carbon footprint by canning, as opposed to bottling, unless buying a refillable 'squeeler' (about 1 litre), or a 'growler' (1.89litres) for take away purposes. They return all mash to the farmers to feed to livestock, and produce minimum waste.and as such, could be considered a 'green' operation. The personal service ive seen them provide to each and every client/customer who walks through the door, is 1st class, as is each and every one of their works of art, supplied to please the pallet. The brewery and attached bar, is industrial chic, and most fitting for the building theyre working from. A uber frinedly vibe has been created, which is made obvious by how many groups of people you see, talking to other visitors whilst there. Id say its a personal and inclusive vibe that has been created. They share all of their secrets to operating a succesful brewery, since they just want to see people enjoying quality crafted beer (as opposed to mass produced rubbish) as is made obvious by the book, published by govs and the team subtitled Black Hops- The least covert operation in brewing An outstanding and 5 star operation, in every sense of the word.

Great little venue, that seems well thought out. The staff are very knowledgable, and if your having trouble deciding what to drink they will help you out in making your choice even giving little test glasses so you can try before you buy. Great take away options whether you want to buy bottled beer or if you grab one of the Black Hops Growlers and have the guys fill it for you fresh from the keg. All round great experience. Thanks guys.

Great Team at Black Hops. Amazing range of beers in an awesome location. Govs and the lads are always working on something new and all for the love of beer. They are a great foundation for ever growing craft/boutique scene here on the sunny shores of Gold Coast.
