Always a lovely shaded walk along the beach, whether on the path or sand. Perfect spot for family picnics & barbecues and walking the dog. Friendly locals always.
Nice for a stroll. Most of the path is just sand so be prepared for that. Not fantastic for a swim, with signs stating that there is a moderate risk of stingers and recent crocodile sightings. There is a nice looking bar with free live music on Saturdays. Pretty spot. Not great for a big run. Lots of off leash beach area for dogs.
Interesting beach. A good walk way along foreshore. Toilets, BBQ and picnic areas are available along here for use. Plenty of parking all the way along.
Holloways has a fresh new look and a nice long Esplanade with BBQ spots all along it. They also have a Free Book Library exchange next to the playground. There is also a great Cafe called Strait on the Beach that has Uke nights on Wednesday nights and has a great friendly vibe and atmosphere. Once a month they have a Market day which is worthwhile to check out. You never know what treasures you will find.
Awesome BBQ area that is hidden away and quiet. Really nice spot to bring kids. Large play area with lots of shade, toilets and a few bbqs. Tables as well with a roof. The beach is clean and flat with lots of sand for the kids or dogs to run on.
Came to Holloways beach for the views and the friendly early markets that are on monthly. They begin again around January. -early Dec. beautiful beach place. Yum donuts and coffee and gorgeous friendly covid safe stalls and stall owners with some fascinating hand mades. Come for the day or a short walk. Gorgeous
Nice little beach closer to the city, shallow for kids and quiet, you can feel the mud layer being closer to the rivers.
Celebrating BBQ Brekky for Australia Day last January 26 2021, Great place spacious and the breeze from the ocean is super relaxing.
Swimming ok at the meet area, cafe. BBQs, fitness gyms, not swimming possible at other end of Esplanade. Plenty parks. Clean tidy areas. Tables, toilets. Play station for kids.
I lived in Holloway's Beach 21years ago and it has definitely changed. The Sunday markets was definitely worth looking at
