We just had a fantastic stay at Big4 Tweed Billabong. We stayed 4 nights in the Gumnut Villa and it was amazing. Big enough for 2 families and perfect for the little ones with the private yard and gate to keep them closed in! The park itself was very clean and tidy, the kids were more than entertained with the pool, waterpark, hire equipment and kids activities the park puts on. They loved doing the colouring in competition everyday which was also nice downtime for the mumsnThe park is close to a cafe, parks, restaurants etc. The staff were so friendly and accomodating and the villa was in great condition. Only downfall is that 2/3 bedrooms don’t have aircon and it’s HOT!! In saying that, would definitely stay again, I’d just pack pedestal fans!! Highly recommend Big4 Tweed Billabong! :
Amazing friendly welcoming and very helpful staff. Easy parking with pleanty of room for all sites. Clean facilities, great amenities from the standard pool to the slide pool with toilet and shower area. Also great activities for all ages for the family here.nA great camp kitchen facility and well thought of seating indoors and out doors.nGreat food venders on site with awesome prices, flavour and size meals, bang for back and family favourite.
One of the nicest caravan parks we’ve been to, with plenty of greenery and beautifully manicured sites. The views of the lake were amazing. The pools were beautiful and clean, and the large water park was a big hit.nThe camp kitchen and camp lounge had an upmarket, restaurant-style vibe. We absolutely loved the treehouse — at night it was all lit up and looked stunning.nThe food trucks in the afternoons were fantastic, with amazing food and very friendly owners. It was always a pleasure visiting them and a great bonus when we just wanted to relax instead of cooking.nOn the downside, the toilets were not kept very clean during the last few days of our stay and appeared to be cleaned only once in the morning, which wasn’t enough for a fully booked caravan park.nAnother negative was the café inside the park next to the camp kitchen Billabong Café. It was only open from 7am to 12pm, and unfortunately one staff member lacked basic customer service skills. A friendly smile and kind interaction in the morning can really make a difference, and this was disappointing.nOverall we had a great holiday and we'd definitely come back
We stayed three nights at BIG4 Tweed Heads and loved every minute of it.nnThe cabin was spotless, comfortable and well equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing family stay. It felt private and peaceful while still being close to all the action.nnThe facilities are outstanding. The pool area is fantastic and the waterslides were a huge highlight. Our toddler had the best time going between the slides, splash areas and the cubby house, which is such a thoughtful addition for little ones. There is plenty to keep kids entertained while still allowing parents to unwind.nnThe entire park is clean, well maintained and clearly designed with families in mind. The location is perfect, positioned between the Gold Coast and Kingscliff so you truly get the best of both worlds. Beaches, cafes and shops are all within easy reach, yet it still feels like a proper holiday escape.nnIt is the ideal mix of comfort, fun and convenience. We will absolutely be back.
This is the best holiday park I’ve ever stayed at!nnThe facilities are awesome and there’s so much for the kids to do. The waterpark and pools are so much fun, even for the big kids. The billabong was a highlight for us, especially hiring a kayak and fishing.nnWe stayed in a Duranbah cabin and it was amazing. 3 large bedrooms, super spacious, really comfortable beds and had all the comforts of home.nnThe Food trucks were delicious, the daily kids activities were great, and the go-karts… all of it was a hit. My son particularly loved the Kids Club sessions. The live music on the camp kitchen deck was a beautiful way to end our stay.nnThe staff here are next level- so friendly and always going above and beyond. They truly made our stay.nnWe couldn’t fault anything. We’ll definitely be back!
