Our "big lap" around Australia continues.  At this park, the noise of the planes taking off just above your head could take some getting used to.  The park itself though is well maintained and well priced.  It is pet friendly in some areas  - we had two dogs in our ensuite site and theres a small off leash enclosure at the front entrance - pets are outlawed in other areas (road markings in the park define the boundaries).

Good place to stop in for cheap and wasy accomodation, had the facilities we needed and mattresses were good. Had free internet for first 100mb but was quite slow. Overall was a good stay

If you are just looking for a one night stopover it's fine. For a holiday you might want something closer to a beach. The ensuite was in a separate building next to the cabin so you have to go outside. The cabin was quite adequate for the price.

We enjoyed a one night stay at Pyramid Holiday Park. It was good, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool and games room.

Really friendly staff, close to local shops and food. Relaxed atmosphere. Close to airport.
