The lady at the cosmetic checkout wouldn't let me leave without paying so I went ahead and paid for the kids toys and bubbles and chocolate, for $56 so $4 short of $60, because she wouldn't let me leave without paying at that area my husband had to pay the remainder of our stuff at the main checkout. They then refused to give us the extra ooshie for $60 as they said we did two separate transactions which wouldn't have happened if the other lady didn't force me to pay at the cosmetic counter the lady laughed at us and said oh no that's not how it works. I had her call a manager cause that was stupid and their own fault it was two separate transactions cause they wouldn't let me go back to my family, some other staff member came over to help us and said oh you want a ooshie I'll give you a ooshie that's fine and then rudely throws a bunch into our trolley. I guess thankyou for the extra ooshies but the customer service all around was horrible. When you're walking in a store with two toddlers and one kid gets something and the other doesn't it's sure to cause upset but the staff didn't seem to care all. What a weird power trip over a dang ooshie.

Today I have bought some stuffs from big w and I wanted to pay from my gift card I didnt know how to pay from my gift card and there was a girl standing for assistance I asked help from her and she came and ask me do you know how much money do you have in your gift card and I said no not sure and she took my card and check the amount I wanted to pay for the items was 83.30 and after 30 second she came and said you have the exact amount in your goft card that you want to pay , i said really? And sbe replied oh yeah and then after that when she scaned my card she doesn't give back my card I was thinking is it in the policy that assistance took card back from the customer after helping them? Because it was strange , sometimes its not about $10 or maybe more than that but its about trust and in the shop should be someone who people can trust on them and they have to be fare with customer , i dont know maybe some money was remaining in my gift card but Im asking is it worth it for people like this to break trust of someone
It’s absolutely ridiculous that there’s no option to pick up an item in-store, yet I’m being charged more for postage than the item itself. This feels unreasonable and very off-putting as a customer. Offering a collection option or fairer shipping rates would make a huge difference.
