Bought a $1,200 LG fridge in Cairns - had a specific requirement for the fridge to open right to left - salesperson said it was easy to change fridge doors to open to the direction I wanted. What the salesperson didn't tell me was:- there were no instructions on how to do this in the box, and secondly LG recommends an LG technician to change the doors over- as the warranty can be voided if you do it yourself. Kennedy's now want to charge me $100+ dollars to change the doors because apparently I didn't do my own "research" - I would not have purchased this fridge had I been given all the necessary information. Disappointing that as a loyal customer for over 15 yrs they have absolutely no interest in finding a fair and reasonable solution to this problem.
The gentlemen I spoke this morning from Kennedy`s in Cairns was very helpful & knowledgeable.He pointed me in the right way to finalise the purchase of the Kelvinator fridge for my son. Well done. Regards:John
I ordered a dishwasher online. I was called the next day to confirm delivery in a week. I am now looking at an 8 week delivery IF I'm lucky. If you don't have stock, be upfront with customers.
5 Stars all round : Wonderful friendly service from guys on the phone and in person in the Cairns store - and the delivery guys. Excellent product knowledge on the washing machine we purchased, exactly what we required and the delivery and install was spot on - including removing our old machine. Thanks to all the team.
I paid 2839 for a 55 " LG TV and the sales were flushing about the product and 359 backup after less than a year thescreen went blank and on calling Betta all I got was to phone a 1300 nunber and was called back by waht must have been a woman in another country,I told her that due to brain damage and age I could not understand her ,Some time ago I was advised to buy an Lg as there was backing local in Cairns ,I am disappointed by the shrug off I got at Cairns Betta Ive lost my 359 aud and will have to try to find a local to help me or it loos like I may have to buy a replacent ,,it will be hard to do on my pension or maybe I can rent one

Had a replacement new tv was 65 inch Hisense A7G Series Have not unboxed it now after having brought it from the betta home store cairns city an have only just unboxed the tv now on the 2/08/2022 an it is missing the following a tv remote, tv wall plug for power, an a manual as well as the stan for the tv box you have got to be joking me no it’s NO JOKE MISS EVERYTHING BESIDES THE TV MOINITER, IAM RETURNING TO THIS STORE TODAY TO HAVE THESE THINGS ABOVE GIVEN TO ME AN IT WILL NOT CHARGE ME EXTRA I MEAN BUSINESS.
Nick helped me with my many varied purchases - nothing was too much effort for him. He has a remarkable knowledge of all the items in which I was interested - washing machine, fridge/freezer combos, TV and sound bars, kettles, toasters, irons, and many other arb small appliances in which I'll be interested in the future. He'd gladly find out info which he didn't know, for example, was the item in stock or why a washing machine didn't have a drainage/filter port on it's front surface no one else could help either. And, most importantly, he was very understanding and patient with the senior citizen, who had recently emigrated to this country, with whom he was interacting. There's no doubt in my mind, when I next need an electrical appliance, I'll be looking for it at Kennedys Betta Home Living in Cairns. Grateful and abundant thanks to you Nick ...... you're the best!
