I was in court room #3 today there to seek an adjournment… I have severe complex post traumatic stress disorder, I was heightened, emotionally overwhelmed, started to get very agitated and almost on the verge of a panic attack. I think her name was Danielle Sergeant for that court room today honestly saved me from having an all out panic episode. I was getting sent here there and everywhere, some people would walk away as I’d politely as a question but she really took my very frightening situation and turned it into a pleasant one. Thank you I appreciate your help today
The reception staff are consistently unfriendly and rude, and they do not demonstrate any sense of duty of care or willingness to assist. Their typical response is simply, “We don’t know,” or “We are not lawyers,” which is unhelpful and dismissive. wonder why they are there? If not there to assist!
Meow Meoooow!!nnHello; My name is Mickey and I'm a black domestic shorthair cat ‍ I recently had to attend court here as I was arrested for spraying on the back wheel of a police vehicle that was parked outside of my residence, which I think was most unfair as they were on my territory. In anycase my experience here was great - they accommodated me as a cat which these days is difficult as most places only cater to dogs I was provided with my own litterbox at the courthouse which is a must as I wad there for most of the day. I was also offered a can of Dine for lunch which was most generous of the staff there; but I bought my own salmon fillets. Never been to any other courts to check if they are FF feline friendly but Beenleigh definitely ticks a lot of boxes which was awesome. Police ended up dropping the charges as the prospect of conviction against a cat wasn't likely. Happy days.nnMeow Regards;nnMickey the Cat
I was just on a phone with Beenleigh Magistrate court in relation to an archived case. I have spoken to Lisa, and oh, my God, what an attitude! She interrupted me every single time I wanted to speak and then accused me in speaking over her. In the end, she did not give me information I have asked for, even if it is her duty. Appaling service.
