First time visit and first time impressions. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. The dentist who attended to my teeth, Dentist Furqan Ahmed, could improve on his building rapport skills by introducing himself, being more friendly and giving clearer instructions. I felt uncomfortable standing without knowing if I was to sit down or not no chair except the dental chair as he asked me questions regarding my dental health. I was on a waiting last for over 18 months to see the dentist and it would have been nice to have been treated with deep care and genuine kindness rather than being left with an experience that felt quite awkward and as if I was a burden. The dental assistant Erika I hope I spelt her name correctly was kind and friendly but also felt unsure how to act with Dentist Furqan Ahmed being awkward and distant. Hopefully this was just an off-day for the dentist. Nonetheless this was my first impression of this service.
Had a front tooth pulled here a little over 2 months ago and after nearly 2 hours in the chair it was finally out but the wound is still healing and so are the mental scars it left. This service is needed by many people and I am grateful its there I just wish the staff there could not look down there nose at you and treat people with the decentness everyone deserves no matter their financial position.
I took my baby girl here several times for various check ups. The ladies here always took any stresses away that I had, being a new parent. A big thank you to all of the staff that come to work and make a difference in the peoples lives.
Attended the Life Worth Living DBT program today for the first time and I must say all of the staff and the workers are amazing, so caring on a personal level and not discriminative in any way! I would highly recommend this place!
A big Thank you to Queensland Government for the great service thru the Queensland Health department to the local communities. Health workers are very helpful and friendly. We are appreciated for the kind work.
