Beat Fitness is by far my favourite spot to work out. The location is very convenient, right by the station and the studio is small and cozy. They offer a small selection of really fun classes. The instructors and staff members are all super friendly and make you feel right at home.
I love the workouts and the coaches. Once you’re in Beat fitness you forget about everything else and only focus on yourself and your body. It’s amazing to get a full on workout in less than an hour and you can really feel the sense of community. I’d love to keep going but unfortunately I moved out of Lausanne, however, i’m still in touch with the community and love seeing them grow.
Best team in Lausanne. The atmosphere is great, staff is always super friendly, energetic and positive. You’ll always feel like a part of the beat family after each workout !
During the COVID pandemic I wanted to provide support to this gym as I thought they had a great concept. I supported financially by purchasing over 400.- worth of coupons for classes. When I wanted to attend classes before the coupons expired in November 2021, I tried contacting the gym multiple times to know their policies and never got a reply. In a rush, I decided to book a class and go see for myself. At the reception I was not only denied entrance but was also SHAMED by staff in front of other gym clients for not being vaccinated. This is a personal matter and I have health issues that won’t allow me to get vaxxed. Nowhere on the door it mentioned vaxxed people only, nor on their website which I checked multiple times. They gave me the managers email whom i contacted several times to get some assistance on my situation since I was about to lose over 400 chf! Never got a reply. For a gym selling higher scale customer service, I am appalled at the lack of communication and transparency whereas all other gyms in Lausanne are clear on their policies and no, not all small scale gyms/studios had this extreme vaxxed only policy. Seeing the lack of competence then, I am not expecting them to take action now. But do know they are not at all representatives of a true boutique gym and they will not hesitate to steal your money although you tried supporting a good cause.
