The hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate not only me and my wife, but also the entire group of international delegates who stayed here for our International Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses. The room was always clean. It was very large and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was delicious and bountiful. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. I would stay here again if I traveled to Melbourne again.

The room was well appointed and had plenty of space to spread around and keep your luggage.  I ordered room service for dinner and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and the price.  Buffet breakfast was also good, with sufficient variety to satisfy most people.  Staff were very pleasant and helpful.  I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to stay within close proximity of the city.  The view from my room overlooked Albert Park and the lake.

We have stayed here a number of times due to the easy access to the city, the most reasonable room pricing and available parking at a small cost. This stay was no different to others with a smile and hello from entry to departure. Our room was clean and functional and met our requirements, the bed comfortable. There was coffee and tea provided along with a working TV. All good and we will stay again next visit to the big smoke.

Pros: The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. 10/10 service from them. On-site parking included in the hotel price was very convenient. The room was spotless, thanks to housekeeping for doing an excellent job. Very convenient location for people who have early morning appointments at the nearby consulates.  Cons: No shampoo or conditioner in the rooms. The room had an unpleasant odor and could have done with some sort of air-freshening. The air conditioning in the room was very poor. I couldn't sleep properly because it was too hot. The building in general could use some freshening up. Very old fixtures, stained carpets, etc. My biggest issue: The bathroom smelled strongly of sewage. I had a quick shower but couldn't get ready in the bathroom because the smell was so overpowering that it made me feel ill.

The room was very comfortable. A few negatives. 1. The air conditioning unit serving the corridor was next to our room and was quite noisy. 2. The bath required a hand rail to ensure safe access when showering. 3. The lighting was poor, with only one low level bed lamp. Staff were extremely courtious and looked after a late supper when we returned from the theatre.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff held a room for me as I did not know if my husband would be out of hospital or not, as it turned out we did need the room. Room services was quick and the food was very good. Overall a great place to stay. Well done.

Stayed here for 1 night, this week.  I'm in a wheelchair.   Staff put down a easy transportable ramp to bridge the stairs for breakfast.  Only disappointing thing was that breakfast wasn't as hot as it could be. The Alfred Hospital super close and easy to get to.   Found the hotel easy to get around. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Lovely and clean.  Bed was wonderful!  Beautiful view first thing in the morning of a hot air balloon rising with the sun, over the park.  Love the big windows.  We'll happily be back again.  :-

I found the room and bathroom well presented and clean. I appreciated having the bath as well. I was looking for amenities such as a gym, pool, bar and restaurant so the Bayview met my needs in that regard. The staff were all friendly and I liked that the receptionist who I checked out with explained clearly how the $100 bond would be refunded. I was very satisfied with my stay.

We got what we thought was a great deal for the area. We stayed one night as we had appointments at the Alfred Hospital over 2 days. We were both tired so room service suited us. Meal was prompt and delicious. Bed was comfortable. Our room was next to lift so I was worried it might be noisy but we didn't hear it at all and over all the room was very quiet. We had a great sleep. Our room was at the back and we had no traffic noise. Getting into car park was a bit cramped but the low price $13 was appreciated. My one complaint was that when checking out we were only told what we were being charged for Room Service and not shown any details. The invoice given to us had no details either. Would stay here again

Lovely room and upgraded for free on arrival it was a Sunday night so prob pretty quiet. The rooms are clean and well appointed, comfy bed and just a classic motel with great reception staff who were very polite and professional who could answer questions about local stores etc. Awesome water pressure in the bathroom, which can be a rarity today in motels.  Very close to Alfred hospital easy walking distance, and as I was to visit the hospital the next day I was allowed to leave my car there all day and save probably $30 in parking.
