Only staying after being moved to the second room because the first smelt like cat piss! because it's late & Taupo is fully booked out. 1 flannel for 2, no hand towel, cupboard falling off hinges, surposed to have WiFi but don't, I'm not paying the lesser amount because the room I moved to has no spa or lake view, I'm going to demand a refund or at least some more money back, this is under acceptable, you can't advertise something you don't give

Great place, clean and well maintained. The sound isolation can be better, yet the room has all what tourist needs. The kitchen is clean and the beds are comfortable. The location is superb with the lake across the street and stores close by. All rooms have jacuzzi bathtubs, and we used it everyday after going to the lake.

Where do I start! Room smelt musty. Toilet leaked continuously. Wet, damp stain on carpet near bathroom. Did not change all bathroom linen each day, forgot our breakfasts, we had to ask for toilet rolls and shampoo to be topped up. To make a long story short... I would not stay again. Need to step up their game!

Great location but no water front facing rooms. Room service needed attention was no shover gel, toilet papers. Rooms were not clean enough and there were no fans or air conditioner. End of the day manager was very polite.

Great place. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. But the rooms were a little run down and the free WiFi reception was pretty poor. Overall a good no frills experience.
