Always a drop in point when we travel north but not anymore. Bought a sausage roll, always my go to but it was horrible. If I weren't so hungry, it would ha e gone in the bin. Has the recipe changed maybe? Definitely not as good as it used to be. In saying that they do have a great selection of food available.
Came in noon yesterday. Guy behind counter looked like he really couldn't care less. I bought chips but while they looked like they were nice when they were Cooked, when they served them they were hard and stale, these chips should never have been sold. The pies were a bit old too but was still at least nice as the meat and gravy was good.
It looks like the food is freshly baked onsite, regardless, the delicious treats coming out of the kitchen were beautiful. Everything we had was top shelf! Great pit stop on the way through town.
A VULGAR BAKERY EXPERIENCE Unfortunately we had the displeasure of purchasing a meal at the Bay ‘Bakery’ Cafe. First and foremost- we decided to purchase a mediocre Sausage Roll and an appalling Steak Burger with the ‘lot’ - not realising bones were included We didn’t even consider buying deserts because of the stale appearance and unfortunate presentation. Due to previous experiences with this ‘establishment’ the jam doughnuts were YELLOW in colour and shockingly difficult to chew. Never thought I would see the day were I would take discomfort in tasting a Jam Doughnut. But this was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Secondly, this establishment had the one of the most unpleasant customer experiences that I have ever witnessed. The ‘baker’ was extremely rude and miserable and was throwing our orders around like they were basketballs. He had messed up orders several times and didn’t show any compassion towards the customers. If you are looking for a bakery in the North-West, I would advise you to skip this unfortunate display of events
Yummy pies and sweet treats. Some hot food too. Toilet is handy when you're stopping from a long drive. Would recommend!
Not an old school town bakery. Heaps of options for drinks, coffee, rolls, pies and sausage rolls. Cakes and sweet treats. We didn’t rate our food very highly. Prob give this one a miss next time we are in Jurien Bay. Staff were friendly, quick and responsive.
We look forward to their pies & cream goodies whenever we pass through. The service has always been exceptional. However yesterday we were served by a very rude male who really should find a job other than in our favourite bakery.
Great place to stop enjoy a pie drink a coffee and finish off with a cake. Excellent service and great value for money.
Servo style food at Cafe prices. Probably only still in business because they fool all the people passing through, doubt locals would go near it.
Fresh, tasty, affordable. Doesn't disappoint as a country bakery.
