The Bath Lane Cafe had a great atmosphere. It also had the highest standard of adherence to Covid Safe standards I’d encountered anywhere. The service was quick and professional, and the food was tasty. I was dining with my mother, and unfortunately whoever was making the coffees got both our coffee orders incorrect. That was slightly disappointing as when our order was taken it was read back to us, and was taken correctly. The breakdown was at the point of whoever made the coffee, not being careful when reading the order, and making the coffee. I’d certainly go back. It was a nice venue.
Food is always great here. Great size portions, not too big. Clean. Lovely staff. Only thing, please replace the cutlery, the knives are blunt.Food: 5/5
Sunny side up breakfast on a Saturday morning - happy staff, outdoor seating or sit inside this cafe in Bath Lane. Generally always open. Friendly staff and great coffee.
Went out for lunch today for a friends birthday and was pleasantly surprised with the service and tasty food! The lady was running the place on her own and doing an incredible job. They had a great GF menu and the food/drinks were delicious. Recommend this place

-HONEST REVIEW a little long but honest Once a nice feed but now it's just a dissapointing experience every time,have give the cafe a few goes hoping I'd just caught them on a bad day....nope not the case unfortunately, constantly missing items of order,food cold or on one occasion of delivery ice cream for kids pancakes was put in a cardboard container and ontop of the hot food, needless to say the order was covered and soggy. The food is overpriced for the quality they give you, if you receive exactly what you've paid for that is. Like previously stated it was once a nice experience dining with bath lane cafe.There just seems to be a lack of pride in their products. Unfortunate to say but I can't recommend them based on personal experiences
Honestly I would avoid this place if I’d never been here. I ordered eggs on toast with a few extras bacon, mushroom and avocado with each extra being $3.50, which if I got everything included in a standard big breakfast at any other cafe would have equated to more than $30, which I wouldn’t mind if the food was worth $30. The meal came out cold and everything was very bland, you could tell straight away that the cheapest ingredients where used and the same thing with my partners Caesar salad.
Had coffee and muffin here. Lovely atmosphere. Very relaxing. Food in the counter looked great. Staff very helpful.Food: 5/5
ONE HOUR for french toast!? Absolutely insane. Tossed together with no care, almost flavourless. And apprently the boss had to come in just to find out what was going on. How sad. Just like the food. Hard to support locals at this rate!
Very average cafe. Friendly service but slow and breakfast quite bland. Bacon and egg toastie particularly disappointing.
