My gf and I had dinner on Saturday night and we left extremely impressed. The service was incredible Troy, cal and jake. The food was beautiful, great menu and the cocktails were made to perfection. Overall the whole experience and ambience of the restaurant made it one of a kind. We will definitely be back !
Great tasting food and sauce. Good service, unfortunately the rice in the Morton bug curry was inedible which they exchanged. Servings size were bit too small for the price.
Wasn't blown away. Went for Valentine's day. The atmosphere I expect to what was received was defiantly different. We were squeezed in pretty close to another couple on one long table with the only thing separating us being a wine bucket. The duck breast was nice. But the crab not so much. The desert was nice. But a bit small. My 2 cents
Our go to place for special occasions rocks never fails to impress. I love the fact that they are open Mondays as most others places are shut!
We tried the lunch special, and it was nice to get so many different tastes for only $35. The service was great as always.
Went for a corporate function. They paid very good money to have everyone in the function looked after. And they had 2 waiters for the whole function so we where eating desert at around 1030 pm The place it self is very well set out and down stairs is great. But for a high end place the service should not have taken so long Seafood was great. Steak comes in two forms. Medium and well done. If I order a steak from a high end restaurant. And I want rare I should be able to get it.
The food here was absolutely amazing. All of the dishes were created and served with the utmost care and precision. On one occasion during the night the owner came over and questioned whether we were enjoying out evening and whether there was anything he could do. This level of service and attention to detail makes it an extremely relaxed and enjoyable dining experience, one that I won't forget anytime soon. I can't wait to go back.
We were just looking for a good place for lunch and we definitely found it. Next door to Rosalind Park, in the heart of Bendigo, it's no surprise it's busy. I felt bad ordering fish and chips when I saw the array of beautiful dishes all around me but, the 2 fillets were chunky and great. The chips were segments of potato that have kept their skin. Very happy with my meal. We also had the Warm Duck Salad. Nicely cooked duck. Delicious cherries and sweetened nuts. However I felt the portion size was a bit small. The waiter was very accommodating regarding food intolerances and the restaurant had a lovely laid back and modern feel to it. We had a really nice experience.
A world-class venue, and very well priced for the quality of cuisine offered. I felt the wines offered were very complimentary to the ingredients being used, and were very well selected for the cellar. Knowledgeable staff and competent Executive Chef, were clearly experienced and suited to the setting. I would have liked to have seen a dessert wine offered with the cheese platter to fully compliment the overall wine/meal pairing.
We have always had a good experience here and it's definitely one of the best restaurants in the Bendigo area. Staff are friendly and give good service. The building is beautiful and there's a nice ambiance in the restaurant. We have tried their Feed Me menu on many occasions and have always enjoyed it. The Peking duck pancakes are delectable and
