Still the best coffee and staff on Carlisle street (and probably anywhere in Melbourne for that matter). Superb breakfasts, generous portion sizes, high quality ingredients all cooked to perfection. Batch is that rarest of cafes - they got it right and they don’t mess with a great thing.

Do yourself a favour and drop all your weekend plans and go here ASAP. The staff are super friendly and the food is fantastic. If you want to indulge, try the batch potato hash, it’s life-changing!!

Tasty food and friendly wait staff. Some good GF options. About average price for a brunch / lunch, with good quality. Fresh juice was great - and not full of ice, so it really was a nice serving of juice! I appreciate the fact they use paper straws!

My friends and I usually buy coffee from Batch in a group when going to zap next door. I went in for a singular coffee today and was told there is a $10 minimum Eftpos charge! I was not allowed to buy a coffee unless I purchased in bulk....mate I’m doing the barefoot investor my splurge doesn’t allow for that! Took my ING card over the road to Westbury Espresso, Ian the barista was lovely and now has a loyal group of customers!

Long time favourite. Always spot on and consistently good. Thanks to all the batch team who make this one of the best places in Melb!!
