I’ve just bought a bbq, trolley and accessories. The bbq on trolley was on a good sale. In my 3 visits to the store, I dealt with 3 people who were great. The lady who served me when I made the purchase answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. Customer service was excellent by all and I would highly recommend them.
Not enough staff to assist customers and majority of the time no staff even on the floor. Wait times were crazy and even then the service was sub par. Even the manager didn’t have much of a care factor. Very disappointing.
My experience with BBQ galore was always good. Great friendly service, great advice, the only downside is the price. It is on the high side .. but great quality and good range of products all in one spot.
Such a disappointing shopping experience. We found the item we wanted on special. Your website said there were none in stock at our closest store on the Sunshine Coast, but that they were in stock at Caboolture. So we wasted our Boxing Day in the traffic on the Bruce, only to arrive and be told there were none in stock, but we can place an order for an expected delivery in Feb. The first guy we spoke to didn't even apologise. The second guy had much better customer service skills, but then went on to say that the website has been wrong for most stores for weeks. Not good enough Barbecues Galore. You need to do a much better job of supporting both your employees and your customers.
Disappointed they didn't have the smoker I wanted in stock. But friendly staff.

We experienced excellent, friendly service from Manda, who set aside a discontinued item for us. It was much appreciated. We can definitely recommend this store and it's team to look after you.

Disappointed by their customer service. Walked in to buy a electronic smoker and everything else needed to start smoking meat. Walked in yesterday morning and stood at the smoking section at the front for the store for 5 minutes looking at their range. Not one of the 2 employees working acknowledged me or asked if I needed help. I was the only customer in the store. Took my business to the Northlakes store and bought a Traeger, dual thermometer, wood pellets, shelf, cover and chicken throne totaling almost $1900. If that's the way the store treats prospective customers I can't imagine what would have happened if I purchased from them, then had a issue that needed a warranty clam etc. I would recommend travelling a bit further and going to the Northlakes store.
Walked in today, both staff out the back and waited to be acknowledged. I asked for a product.. the guy said they don't have bbq rangehoods than a female employee said yes we do. The guy had trouble finding specs and couldn't tell me how wide the flu was. He was happy to leave it at "I don't know" rather than find out. Hopeless.
