Great spot for a picnic not many tables available and I didn't spot a barbecue area lots of great spots throughout the park. The cherry blossom trees is a must see from mid September to mid Oct. The park has a dog friendly zone. You can also find a cafe near the museum.
I visited this park on a Saturday morning, the place was beautiful and peaceful. Although the Japanese cherry trees were still budding, I saw many beautiful flowers like pear blossoms, which were also quite pretty.nI enjoyed having a quiet picnic with my partner in the park.
Charming park right near the Heide Galleries. Great for walking the dog or an afternoon stroll. There’s extra parking deeper into the park so if you can’t find a spot it’s worth going further in.
Visited on 28 Sep with a few Cherry blossom blooming status. There are other trees of different species still in bulb.
Huge park - known as Heidi park for what I know. A great place for a walk and enjoy cherry blossoms in spring time . Would recommend to come in Oct is the best as the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom. There is a limited car park space and hope the Council will improve on that .
