Nice playground for older kids, but not challenging for a 9yo. Everything you need on the spot for a good day in a park: endless walking and bike paved and non-paved tracks that connects to other parks, toilet, bbq, tables, shelter, a river, lots of space and exceptional wildlife. It can be crowded though, which can make the experience less enjoyable. Parking the car near the picnic area can also be an issue.

This place has bbq, shades, toilet, car park. Big area so you will get enough place, will not feel crowded.
My kid loves the playground LOL
