This is a beautiful spot. Be it for a walk or bike ride. The wildlife is amazing and the Tarra river is a picture.

Great parklands for a stroll. We take the kids there regularly. Start at Possum Hollow, walk upstream to the Banyule drain pond and back again (to play at the park). Be mindful of cyclists though. While most are thoughtful and slow when approaching potentially wayward kids, others not so much. Best to be beside your kids if they're not trained to keep left.
