We visited before the pandemic while holidaying and we were so happy with the experience I actually talk about the food at Provedore more than all of the tourist attractions we visited. The Chef was so lovely and he even gave us a tip as to how he makes his delicious mash potato so heavenly fluffy, we actually just kept going back to order sides of the mash potato it was so beautiful. The pizza was juicy like how traditional pizza used to be and the pasta he made me was amazingly delicious! I've never tasted anything close, I'm honestly willing to drive back there 4hr drive on weekends, I hope he's still there now that travel is allowed. The Chef even told us about tourist-y things to check out that even the information centre didn't know about so we were really grateful for the added hospitality. Even when we moved onto other towns further away over the week we kept driving back to Ballarat just to eat here I kept getting my faves: the pasta and side of mash. The duo were so helpful, the lady also made really good iced chocolates and was very sweet herself.

Lovely place with warm friendly atmosphere. Good menu selection for dinner and lots of chocolate & fudge treats to take way for your late evening sweets.

Wonderful range of home made jams, pickles, chutney, preserves, home made pastries, fudge and sweets. Warm homely atmosphere, friendly staff. Give the chicken burger a miss, it's not chicken.

We absolutely love our time here 2 nights for dinner in a row. My wife loved the curry pie that much she ordered it both nights and I had the Parma and steak and they were cooked to perfection. Thank you for going out of your way to make everybody feel very welcome. Will decently be back. 110% recommend to anybody.

Breakfast- bacon,eggs on toast,wait 4 it,the home made tomato relish,sensational and a nice strong long black in front of open fire. Will definetly return.

We arrived late on a Sunday night with a upset baby from traveling 5 hours. The staff were most accommodating and cooked is a brilliant BBQ chicken pizza and allowed to use the tables and facilities whilst they were cleaning up. Beautiful people first of all and great pizza to boot  Kid-friendliness: Were happy for my partner to feed our child

Delishious home style fare, we had some Bolognese and Pasties to reheat at home and it was just lovely.  Vegetarian options: vegetarian pastie

Some of the best pizza and hot chocolate I've ever had. Really appreciated the outdoor but undercover area and being allowed to bring my dog into it to sit with us while eating.  Parking: Lot&#39;s of parking but a bit tricky to get into the carpark off the highway.

Open fireplace was nice, but our fish and chip meals were not very tasty. Felt like it might have been straight from packet of pre-crumbed frozen fish. Which would be fine if the meal was cheaper, but for the price was expecting more.

Lovely meal served in quiet , relaxed, character filled atmosphere by warm and friendly hosts. 2 entre soups & bread roll + large pizza + 2 cidars = $65 and we both left fully satisfied. Recommended.Food: 5/5
