I love this Post Office. They are so friendly and helpful. I was so surprised to see the bad reviews as they do everything to help you. The brighton collection place at the back is awesome, they remember your name and they are always smiling. PS. I also understand how frustrating it is to collect a parcel when you have been home all day, but having a go at the staff is pointless. It is not their fault. My suggestion would be to make a complaint online, if you are so passionate about it.
I have been coming for 3 years and love the staff here in the Brighton DC collection point and in the main shop front. They are super friendly and remember you. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews but I've personally always had a great experience and go there weekly.
Had a great experience, parking on location, quick service, opening hours for parcel pick up are 1pm to 6pm, staff was very pleasant, offered the use of their trolley.
Awful experience. Probably the person was having a bad day or something, but she felt with the right to be so unfriendly.
In store, 5/5 for good staff but way understaffed for the only PO within 5km, for the parcel service around Male St, -10/5 for appalling delivery, 90% of the time they don’t bother attempting to deliver, not leave a card, you just get a text message a day later saying they were unable to driver when you were working from home all day.
Shocking service - we were home and nobody came and the card left was a completely different pickup point which I drove to twice as not open at 9am then told it's at Brighton North - Arrived there today at 10:30 - told not open till 1pm - absolutely ridiculous considering Christmas coming up not to mention the items I have ordered that are scanned by Aust Post and somehow disappeared??? No accountability AT ALL! Discusting service that rewarded their top staff with 100's of thousands in bonuses - what a wrought!
I would give no stars if I could, rude staff. After encountering a conversation with the Manager I can see where they learn it from. If you are getting a parcel delivered do not divert to this shop at all costs. Will not give to an authorised pickup person and will not hold if you are unable to retrieve straight away, returns the parcel to make the whole process excessively more complicated than needed.
Delivery man just dumps the parcel slip in our mailbox without knocking on our door. I saw the truck and everything. Paid for express delivery on Wednesday now have to wait till Monday to pick it up. 5 day express delivery and i have to go pick it up. What a joke. Called and left a complaint. Would give them 0 stars if i could.
Shame on you Management team of AUS Post North Brighton for allowing your staff to yell at your customers and be so consumed with COVIDSafe restrictions they are not doing their job properly. Slowest service and worst customer experience ever. There are better staff out there, I suggest you get some.
I have had a most frustrating experience with this post office and the only reason I have ended up here to compoain is that there is no direct phone number or contact email address for that matter. Aparantly all issues regarding deliveries are handled by the one centre which have been most unhelpful. Even though I signed up for my post and have recieved countless deliveries previously from this office this time my parcel was redirected back to sender. Basically customer service returned my call I was told that likely there was a new or fill in delivery man, he had taken it to the wrong address, then taken back to north brighton post office. this was in the afternoon and when I looked and found this on the tracking I have done everything possible to let them know I would pick it up. I was not even given a chance to do this as not given oppurtunity. in the afternoon it was listed as on board with deliveries and then in the morning before the post office even reopened in the morning they had redirected my parcel and returned to sender. this was a 3kg satchel and from interstate. They told me that there was no way to prevent or intercept this and that even though it was their fault and I had paid for postage myself that the sender would have to lodge a claim for compensation. No other means to even complain bar this and the ombudsmen . What a joke. Would be very interested if you would like to respond with anything that may be helpful and not lead me in fruitless circles again! extremely annoyed, will be making alterations so my mail does not need to go through your office again. Time and energy wasted I could have done without.
