The tall lady who works in Box Hill South LPO has the nastiest attitude I've ever seen, I was trying to take an ID photo, and she said they can only take a passport-size photo, after I said any size is fine, she claimed that she is too busy, so she can't take an ID photo due to the busy condition. I said any post office should be able to take an ID photo, but she ignored me. I repeat my request and the guy who works there asked if she was able to take the picture for me, she was looking at her phone and did not even pull her head up and said “No I don't want to take the photo for him”. Right in front of my face. Eventually, the guy who asked and got rejected by her helped me take the photo, and when I asked to send the digital version to me, she told me to leave my email and she would send it to me later.
Very friendly staff and very helpful, I never mail a letter before so I asked lots of questions but the two Chinese staff were very kind to help me with patience. Deserves the 10mins drive:
UPDATE: I feel the new owners have somewhat found their feet. My last few visits have been met with friendly staff, though language barrier a small factor.nn******nOwnership change as of Feb 2022. I miss the old crew & their dog.nnIve been in twice since the change - I'll continue to go there for my tatts becaus it's so close but for anything I feel like it'd be easier to travel and find somewhere else.

Kind and helpful staff. Very knowledgeable and know how to best help you.nnBeen here twice because AusPost keeps redirecting my package without even attempting to deliver :/ Was a hassle to have to go to a post office when the package should have been delivered, but that's another story and not the branch's fault.
