I'm usually a casual in the store to receive money through their moneygram services. Until. "Made a booking with us?" How in the world would I know it's through booking? Didn't even show me how to make a booking just said "come back 2:30" in my years of experience in receiving money through currency agency. Not once asked me for a booking. Time to find a better currency agent.
Come here numerous times over the years, even for a can of soda, nice service. Very recently, my parcel ended up here, as I’d usually be working and unable to collect it - I msgd asking my options as shop was closed. Owner legit got my package to me, literal minutes after explaining the situation. I’m in awe. That’s going above and beyond... Couldn’t be more thankful for your service....!
I just came here to print some documents during lockdown, service was fast and the owner was lovely. I also unfortunately witnessed an anti maskers lose her mind at the show owner for asking her to wear a mask or if she had an exemption. She could have just said she had an exemption and moved on but instead she immediately started screaming and threatening the shop owner. She threatened to report him and ruin his business. So if anyone sees any reviews in regards to this shop being discriminatory is false. All stores have a right to ask you to wear a mask or confirm if you have an exemption to not wear one, simple state your answer and move on.
Awful customer service as others have pointed out. They might be fine as a newsagency and stationery shop but I hope you never have the misfortune of trying to pick up a parcel from here. I went to get my parcel after I'd received an email notification from Australia Post saying that it'd been delivered, the shop said it hadn't arrived yet. I showed them the delivery notification and tracking number but they just dismissed me. I didn't get a chance to return to the shop before a two-week trip. Then when I went back after my holiday, they said that if it had been more than 7 days, my parcel would have been returned to the depot. They didn't even bother to check my name or tracking number but I kept insisting and it turned out my parcel was there. It was literally AT THE FRONT DESK with my name clearly printed on it, but they just couldn't take a minute to read the labels of the parcels sitting right in front of them. AFTER I picked up my parcel, I got another alert by SMS and email saying that my parcel was ready for collection - so evidently the staff had neglected to trigger that when they actually received it. Honestly it feels like you have to fight the staff here to get your parcels. If you're not assertive they'll send you away every time. I don't understand why they offer this service if they are so reluctant to do their jobs.
Rude guy with beard at the counter.first time there Speaking to me as if I'm stupid,had to tell him to chill,terrible TERRIBLE! experience honestly.
The attendant seemed to blame the computer for everything and wasn't the most friendliest. I got my parcel though so all good. The name Austin Knox is in such small letters in that I was confused if I was even in the right place.
Waited 15 to 20 minutes only to tell he can’t help me and he couldn’t care less. No wonder Footscray is turning to slumps.
They have changed a lot for good since the last visit that was terrible maybe one year ago. Excellent customer service.
Easy and fast service with Very reliable and helpful staff, in future happy to keep my feet with this office. Thank you!
