It could be better bookshop if, they communicate with customers about missing items. i placed my order late so I was expecting delay but, there was no sign of delivery until I called them. In the Last I had to pick my books and guess I still had to pay delivery charge. when I came home and found items were missing from the order. I tried to contact them but still no response. never going back or recommending anyone.
Absolutely rude staff or only this one person! I placed an online order and didn't notice the click and collect was not available. The website has an option to untick delivery, which is misguiding. When I went to the store re this order, instead of advising that I am not able to collect, this one staff made our interaction absolutely unpleasant and derogatory. This is book mafia!! Dear that one rude staff - Quit if you can't handle customers!
For the most part, this store has been good. Most staff are polite and helpful. Today I called to see if some secondhand books had sold so that I didn't waste everybody's time going there if they hadn't and the person I spoke to spent 1m 2s telling me how busy she was and they don't do that over the phone. Now I understand that they get busy, however, in the time it took her to tell me she was too busy, she could have checked.
I came here every year, something I realised is that prices are way too expensive. I recommend that you talk to a person one year ahead of you and buy that books much cheaper, also sell your books to lower grades since you will only get 7$ for selling a 50$ book here. The worst experience was when I wanted a book but gave the wrong book. 1 month later, when the school opened, I requested for a refund since it was a muck up on there part. However refused a refund and gave a gift voucher? For a year 12 who will never buy a high school book again...
The staff are excellent. It takes a while to out together large school orders but they are still as fast as possible. The staff know the carriculum and catch errors on forms saving me about $110. Perfect.
Probably the second visit as I usually Order online . It's okay as far as the shop is concerned , plenty of staff to deal with foot traffic and there is an option to buy second hand if budget doesn't allow stock depending. The only gripe I have is getting back on the main road as it's busy and a nightmare.... You've been warned.
Offers second hand sales of text books as well as new. Helpful and always trying to improve their service. Long queues on collection days if you go by what the school suggests. I go in at quiet times for a better experience.
To have a $15 minimum card limit during a global covid pandemic is pathetic. A time to stop the spread and you are still using cash. Shame on you. The mark up on your books would more than cover any bank fees.
I have always managed to get what I have wanted. Staff are really friendly.
This place is all about money!!!! Don't care about anything else. I would recommend trying to get your books elsewhere before coming here!!!
