I needed  a change made to one of the cards on our business account. After driving almost an hour to get to the closest ASB branch, the staff member at the counter told me I could go home and do it online. Even though I was already physically standing in the bank, they didn't complete the necessary process, which we needed quickly. When I got back home and tried to do it online, a message popped up to say I couldn't do it online, and either had to do it over the phone, or go to a local branch. The closest branch is over 65 km away. It was very frustrating. Eventually I got someone at the call centre who was able to complete the process for me over the phone. Then I had to wait another week for a new card to be sent out, by which time it was too late for what we originally needed it for. If it had been done at the branch I first went to, it would have taken 5 minutes, and I would have had it straight away. It didn't make us feel as if our business transactions are important to the ASB. No wonder all the branches are closing down, if the customers are not being served when they go there.

Absolutely un professional service specifically at the ATM!! Can’t access the ATM with Debit card or credit card as the door reader is not taking any of the card to give me ATM access!! After hours can not access the ATM!! Very poor service !! And yes only one ATM in whole City with door access reader which is even not reading any of the card issued by them!!

I forgot my card to deposit cash, so I gave the account number and name. She said she needed to ask me security questions because people are money laundering??? Like really!!! So if people purchase something online eg TradeMe and don't have internet banking and they try to deposit cash into an account they need to know the account holders password and other security questions? What the hell is that about.  Worst bank in Palmy, dont know why they closed the other branch

Never waited so long in a line in my life. Rude as well, got an eye roll and was late to work.

I have just been into the asb plaza branch, and received the best customer service ever! I am not sure of the female concierge name, or the lovely lady that let me in, right on closing time. I have been trying to sort an automatic payment out for 2 days. The concierge got it sorted, with no hassle whatsoever. Thanking you so much

Worst bank ever absolutely a joke. They don't give you change if you ask them to get some coins or whatever. They said to me  I should go to my own bank which must be really a joke. What if I'm a tourist in the country and having a current visit ?!? What would they say then ?! It's a banking system and the task of the bank to serve the clients and  I'm asking to get some change with nz notes and they don't do that! Why do you call yourself a bank then or what's your purpose of being there! Worst rude staff and worst bank "thank god"  I am not dealing with ASB.

Annoying that they don't update their own website with current information on ATM's in PalmerstonNorth. Wasted my time driving to an ATM only to find out it's no longer there, and when I called the call centre they told me about a few other ATM's that aren't even listed on their website.
