Story

Aquavue Café Watersports is the Fraser Coast’s premier destination for food, fun and adventure.

The café is open for all day breakfast, lunch and evening, and serves morning and afternoon tea. Aquavue is renowned for their specially blended coffee prepared by trained baristas.

At Aquavue watersports of every kind can be enjoyed. There are Jet Skis, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, sailing catamarans, fishing boats and four wheel bike cruisers for hire and for the experience seekers’ and adrenaline junkies, there are Jet Ski Eco tours and adventure packages.

Great service and beachfront location. Enjoyed the Chicken club house sandwich and the adapted Calamari mango salad and others enjoyed their meals too. All were good sized servings, fresh and promptly served.nKayla provided excellent service was efficient, knew the menu well and was friendly and kindly took photos of group for us. Highly recommend for good food and service in a prime beachfront location.nThanks Kayla for your excellent and welcoming service.

Epic Fridays? Loaded Chicken Parmi’s?nMore like failure Friday's. I have never in my life been catfished by a restaurant until tonight. Their advertising for their current promo of $22 “loaded parmi’s” is on point - but expectation vs reality is a big difference. And the 40 minute wait during a very lightly filled dinner service, only to get the disappointment we did - was what made it even worse. At the end of a long working week, drooling over Aquavue’s reels promoting their epic Fridays, tonight was the night to nip that craving in the bud. But it was a major let down. Sliced steak and cheesy goodness on the Philly Cheese steak parmi? I think not. How’s about a small chunk of dry and over cooked steak on top with some melted tasty cheese for looks, supposedly there was meant to be some kind of sauce, but that was left in the kitchen with the rest of the capsicum - and carefully placed were 12 undercooked chips on the side to make it look more appetizing……. Didn’t mention, my fork was bigger than the snittie too.nnYou want a snittie experience that is the best value in town hands down? The Craignish country club has THE most biggest snitties with toppers around - and for almost the same price as the little Peter Dinklage proportioned snitties at Aqua view.nnYou have let me down Aquavue.
Great view, but a very disappointing experience. The $26 AUD eggs Benedict were poorly executed and served on heavy fried bread with overcooked, hard yolks. Cleanliness was also a major issue, as both the cutlery and glasses were dirty. The flat white was average, and there was no fresh juice available. Only pre-packaged bottled options. Service was indifferent. Overall, it's poor value for money and you get far too little for what you pay. Not recommended. PS: They offer free coffee for 5-star reviews, which likely explains any rating discrepancies.
A great place on the esplanade to grab a bite. The food was delicious. The fish was seasoned really well. The salt and pepper calamari was battered just right with plenty of flavour. The scallops were delicious. Overall everything on the platter tasted great. The app wasn’t working so we had to grab the menu from the counter but apart from that it was great with a great view of the sea.
