Great value for money and incredibly friendly service! These guys are great! We went around lunch time, as we’d walked past multiple times and it always seemed to have someone collecting or people sat on the table outside! So looked like a good spot! Portion sizes where large in our opinion and we enjoyed sharing our food! We enjoyed the seafood supper, nuggets and burger - I’m aware we should’ve had more seafood but we really enjoyed the burger and nuggets too! Fish and scallops in the supper tasted fresh. Well crumbled/battered and the chips where well cooked, not soggy, not burnt. The burger we got as a random side but it was really nice. Absolutely huge! All accompaniments, salad, beetroot, sauce etc! Would recommend!

From the amount of people waiting for food when we arrived we had a feeling this place was going to be good. Even under the pump the staff were friendly and worked as fast as they could to get orders through. The fish itself was really tasty but I found the batter to be a little chewy. The crumbed scallops though were to die for. I’m kind of divided on the chips though. I did enjoy them as they weren’t too soggy but they seemed lacking in salt. One down side is the serving size was too big, making great value for money, but left some food waste. I’d say the fish pack is great yo share with maybe a few scallops or prawns on the side.

How do you know a place is good? If there are 50 locals waiting outside. Is the fish absolutely delicious and perfectly fried? Hell yeah! Are the chips crispy and perfectly salted? You bet! Should you go there? …come on, we both know the answer. ; Absolutely legendary!

We for the flake and chips and the red emporer and chips Some calamari and scallops. The flake wasn't nice at all mushy. The Red Emperor was beautiful 1 pack is definitely enough for 2 people and we were told it wouldn't be. First fish and chip place I've been to in years that does scallops with the roe on absolutely delicious Calamari had been overcooked

Got crumb fish and chips family pack. Could not fault any of it. The presentation was amazing even though they were very busy. The chips were delicious as was the Cod. We never left a crumb. Thank you so much for our great lunch. Would highly recommend this place and the price was reasonable too. Staff were very friendly and helpful . Could not fault a single thing i cant remember having such a faultless meal for a l8ng time.

Bought chips only for my son. Took forever and this is what we got my son don’t even wanna eat it. N it’s his fav food

The seafood display in the shop looks great so we decided to buy some fresh crab on special. We were extremely disappointed. All three crabs had been frozen and they were stringy and there was very little taste to them. We ate one and the other two went in the bin.

Lots of local seafood at good prices. Ordered the local snapper and chips for $13.50. The crumbs were golden, crisp and stuck to the fish. The snapper portion was generous. Chips golden and crisp and well salted. Homemade seafood salad for $5.50 Not of seafood extender and prawns. The sauce had a nice acidic vinegar bite to it. The lady taking the order had nice handwriting and was very efficient. One of the better fish and chip shops I’ve been to!

Great variety of fish and ocean food, fish crumbed or battered. Lovely hot chips and potato scallops. Was very busy but didn't have to wait long. Lots of lovely spots across the road with tables and chairs and shelters.
