Lovely place. We had the stuffed zucchini flowers, king prawns in shredded pastry with orange & chilli aoli. We found the veal tortellini was lovely and for dessert tiramisu and the Nut Mallow calzone was delicious!nGreat service, but a little cool as night went on. Pleased.we were accommodated and able to sit away from the door! Great night !

There were four of us at our table and not one of us were disappointed with any of the meals that were bought out to us, I couldn't make the feeds at home that good, even the Spag bog! Whilst the proportion sizes don't look big when you first get them, they are in fact the right portion size and will fill you up very quickly. So yummy. Will go here again. Pic of the Ravioli noci.
Paolos Pizza Bar is a hidden culinary gem on the Esplanade in Hervey Bay. We ordered the scallops in a creamy Sambuca and garlic sauce, the risotto, and the Madonna pizza, and every dish was a masterclass in flavour — balanced, generous, and beautifully executed. The service was warm and impeccable, the kind that makes you feel genuinely looked after. I’m so happy to have discovered such an exceptional spot in my new favourite holiday destination. Thank you, I’ll definitely be back.
SublimenI've waited weeks to write in order to return to neutral from this experience. Rarely have I thought about a dish, no matter how well crafted, for more then two days. Paolo's Pizza Bar is still living rent free in my thoughts. The main of Risotto was as good as it gets. Everything you'd expect. The Star however, was the entree of Sambuca scallops. I implore you to sample this dish, if nothing else, from this highly skilled kitchen in beautiful Harvey Bay. Truly a culinary flex that you won't be disappointed with. 5 stars
