Aplins Weir Park is great for the family. The play ground is fenced for safety. The equipment is maintained and the gardens are beautiful. The is a swing available for those children in a wheelchair. Plenty of tables and benches to sit at and lots of shade.
If you wanted to you can walk down to the river throw a line in and do some fishing.
