My mother had an electrical incident following the earthquake in Victoria and has APIA home assist additional service under her policy. We rang APIA and spoke with the most helpful, sweetest staff based in Adelaide Lara in claims and Brandon in service and by the next morning the electrician had come out fixed the problem and put my elderly mum at ease. Cannot thank them both enough and would highly recommend the purchase of this cover and the Insurance Company itself. Excellent Service and Assistance.
They never answer their phone, was on the phone for over an an hour and they never answered me, very disappointed I must say once l went online there couldn’t be,more helpful, so they must be very busy
Best to steer clear and do not use, this is all I can say.

They dealt with my car repair when we had a slight arguement with a roo, the service was quick and we were back on the road in no time at all, great service highy recommend
This company is fantastic , claims are simple to lodge , response is quick as is settlement with no long winded third degree questioning, would highly recommend to anyone thinking of changing, have never been happier , would not even bother to compare prices because they are always so easy to deal with,

Very helpful andevery thing done right
Expensive_ stating it was because we live in the country and there aren't builders available if the house burnt down. There are loads where I live. So lowest insurance available was $350,000.00 over market value, $400,000. over valuer general on rates. Once I am back from holidays will be changing insurers.
