I was looking for a suit for a Gala Dinner that I can also wear occasionally for work also, and because I do not have the “standard” physique, I needed it also to be tailored to fit me. I was shopping around the major brands and tailors around Melbourne and until I found Andre J Menswear. I walked in, without an appointment, and I was welcomed by Andre. Andre was an absolute professional, asking all about the suit, occasion, how I wear it, my preferences, etc. and only then he would make recommendations. He is very knowledgeable on everything suit related and would go out of his way to work with you to get you the best suit made for you. As it got busier, one of Andre team members, Anne, helped me out. She walked me through all the alterations and fitting recommendations. Shout out to Anne for recommending extra trousers as I completely forgot! The end results? I absolutely love the suit and fitted shirt I got from Andre! It was of high quality, and I got a lot of positive feedback others as I wore it on the Gala and to work the next day. If you are after men’s suit for whatever occasion, I highly recommend you check out and visit Andre J Menswear.

I cannot recommend Andre J enough! As I have a boxy, stocky figure I have always struggled to get suits that complement my body and aren't just tailored to tall slender people. As a result, the suits I have bought in the past from mainstream retailers have always been uncomfortable, tight in the wrong places like armpits and backs, badly tailored and expensive.  Andre was recommended through a friend of my wife and he has really pulled through.  He is super accommodating and it's clear that he cares about delivering a good product. He made sure to listen to what I was after and ensure that the tailoring was perfect to my specifications, and where needed provided further refinements with no problem.  I have purchased two suits for me and 3 for my groomsman and he has delivered each time. My groomsmen are more slender types and those fits were perfect for them too. Not only were the fits excellent but the suits were very comfortable. Will definitely be back whenever I need a new one.  Thanks Andre!

Andre provided the suits for my wedding. He is very accommodating and goes the extra mile to get what you are after at a great price.  Andre is a lot of fun to work with and makes the suit fitting process very enjoyable.

The dress shoes are TRASH. They will have your car, house and closet smelling like strong chemicals for a few weeks. The left sole came off not even 5 months after purchase. I wore them maybe 2-3 times a month max since purchase. Complete waste of money.

Amazing service from Andre and the team. They looked after us from the get-go with a  bespoke suit made for me and a tailored suit for our grandson which were perfect and both looked sharply dressed on the day. Highly recommended and very happy with the service, quality and price.

Great place to go if you'd like a suit. Excellent prices with a skilled tailor at the helm. Easy to talk to and happy to help when you aren't so sure what you want/need yourself.
