Walked in to purchase a Lounge Suit today, spent over twenty minutes looking at various products with two other customers in the store. Found a Lounge that I liked but all sales staff must have had other important things to be doing as I was not approached by any member. I understand that the branch shuts at the end of the month so quite possibly the staff are not drawing a wage and are just turning up for their own social activities? North Lakes branch not much better, I went to Fantastic Furniture and was greeted within thirty seconds of being in the store and then again by another staff member five minutes later. So nice to be treated as a important part of a retail business. Guess what store got my business? After reading previous reviews the good sales members must already be working at other branches.
Jon was a great sales person who kept his word. His suggestions proved to be very beneficial to me. Friendly and professional, he ensured that I was satisfied with my purchases. Delivery was well organised and prompt. Good job all round.

Huge store, great location, easy to get to and good parking. Great range at good prices. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I was looking at a new bed and the salesman was very informative about the different types of mattresses.
Large store with a large range of furniture. Items are pretty expensive although usually good quality. Not cheap but not too overpriced. Staff are friendly and helpful once they actually approach you and talk to you or you go find them yourself. They have an area on the side of the store where you can pick up your items which is fast and easy and the people who get your items from there are fast and efficient. No shortage of parking and never that busy on the occasions I've been.
I'd never considered shopping at Amart but circumstances changed that and I was pleasantly surprised. Ashleigh was a most courteous and respectful admin assistant. I suggest she would make a great staff trainer.. No, we're not related.. Also, I purchased furniture in the Mackay store and 'Jen' from there was just as good! It's the good old fashion service often lacking in this modern day retail industry..
They recently had a renovation and it looks great inside. We have bought 90% of our furniture from here over the years and they are quite good. Every now and then they get a dodgy salesperson so you just have to make sure any promises are written down on the order so they stick to it.
Not a bad Super Amart. Staff aren't too pushy and understand when you are clearly just looking. They are helpful in helping you find what you are looking for. Large range of products however the store is quite cramped so feel a lot smaller than it actually is.
Huge store, Customers are not hassled & When one is needed you can get a salesperson quickly depending if there is a frenzy sale. It is laid out well in section to sections rather than some other shops will make you walk the whole store to find the item you want. I'd call most of goods there as classy, & a style to keep other people's tastes happy as well. In saying saying "classy" I mean it looks generally sturdy & well built, but the goods start to degrade fairly rapidly. We've been down that road & a leather lounge that looks FANTASTIC starts to slowly peel away from the material backing. This is PU Leather & if they do, do "real leather" I'd still put another 2 grand away to buy from Scalis or Harvey's. The chrome item fixtures on the furniture START to rust in a few years, and other furniture coverings decide to show a 20-30yr old patina on good quality stuff, but these coverings from Amart show up rather rapidly. Hey, we started down the Amart road when we first got married & furnished our two bedroom villa for less than 4 grand whitegoods not included. I'd say go for it if you can put replacing your furniture AGAIN in a few years time out of your mind. We quickly wandered into Amart this morning as our 3 REAL leather bar stools on the kitchen bench had seen over 15yrs & were getting knackered. We'll have a good look around for something a lot better, and this way there is no need to hurry. I recommend Amart if you are flipping renovated houses, & need them looking not empty & more homely, or do as we do, & rent properties to people fully furnished who are trying out an area like the Whitsundays etc to see if this is really the place they want to buy/build/live in. All in all, Super Amart is a cheap place to buy upmarket looking furniture, whilst you put your extra cash away for something that is made & live as part of your family for the next 50yrs. I took 1 star off because some of furniture is not the worth the sales price, as well as not mentioning PU Leather as what it really is. This shop is definitely worth a look if cash is a bit tight, but you need a few things to fill up empty spaces.
Deb B was awesome! She was kind polite and a pleasure to deal with!! I will come to her anytime! All other sales staff in store lazed around the desks talking and never even greeted us! Thank god for deb because otherwise we would have left without making a purchase! Thanks again deb!!
