Where else in Orewa can you have eggs,bacon and toast brought to your table for $6.50? It's a homely little spot where snatches of the sea can be seen from the tables outside. Friendly service and good coffee.

What a wonderful cafe! We were treated to fantastic and friendly service, great coffee and a wealth of ready made baked goods as well as a full breakfast and lunch menu. Our daughters were blown away by the presentation of the kids pancake plate: two pancakes sandwiching a grilled banana, a full piece of bacon, and topped by powdered sugar. This was joined by sides of syrup, whipped cream, a bowl of fruit, a marshmallow skewer, and a chocolate strawberry candy treat. The kids dove in before I could take a photo (someone upload one for me please). This dish is worth the trip alone. For those with allergies, there is signage everywhere asking you to notify the staff of allergies in order to discuss substitutions - a welcome sight as this is so often a tough conversation with most restaurants.
