Celebrated a birthday here in a Friday night. Place was very popular with the takeaways offered and once dinner arrived I knew why. I ordered the Lonely Duck with jasmine rice. The duck was cooked perfectly, the sauce was tasty. The staff were very attentive and service was timely without feeling rushed. The BYO option suited us for a birthday celebration only charging $10 corkage.
im being to thai orewa restaurant for more than 10years. Always amazing foods, so yummy! I highly recommend Stir Fried Basil Beef or Chicken or Squid. All recommend. First time ate real thai beef salad. Wow amazing busy night on weekend so better to book table! Lunch is more reasonable price because cheaper and rice is free
Hit this place for a takeaway moments before the kitchen closed on a recently stormy night. I have one word to describe the food…Outstanding!!! I had the coconut prawn starter and a Thai Prawn Green curry. The starter was fresh and crisp, tasted like it had been cooked in fresh high quality oil. The main was tasty and spicy to the right level, didn’t feel like the flavour came out of a packet which I’m frequently disappointed by. Based on one experience I have no hesitation recommending this lace- enjoy.
I've been coming here for over 15 years & can honestly say I've never had a bad experience. The food is always really tasty & not overpriced. The service is consistently friendly & attentive, without making you feel rushed. I had black pepper & garlic duck take out the other night & it was worth every penny! Yuuum! Thanks Thai Orewa
Great meal had here and worth the drive from Auckland. Entrees ordered curry puffs I loved as like a Cornish pasties pastry also we ordered spring rolls. Mains hubby and I both ordered Pad Thai his chicken, mine king prawn very generous with prawns I counted 8. Service was stretched as extremely busy, but worth the drive.
Really enjoyed our meal tonight at Thai Orewa. Great flavors, good size portions and well presented. Would highly recommend everything we had: prawn bread appetizer, pork panang curry, larb kai chicken salad —this one definitely had a kick , and fried banana dessert. Yum! Spacious indoor dining room and a few tables outside. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will visit again next time we stay in Red Beach.
We just had our first takeaway from Thai Orewa and it was delicious! We ordered the Beef Massaman curry, Pad Thai and the Macadamia Chicken and it was all super tasty! We're looking forward to ordering again soon! Thanks team! :-
A group of us celebrated our work Xmas dinner at Thai Orewa last night.... The service was excellent and all dishes we ordered were soooo delicious. Highly recommend
Situated in a great location near to the Orewa beach, the restaurant offers great services and delicious food. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had chicken fried rice for my son, beef rice noodle for my daughter and they were both so pleases with the food. My husband ordered the seafood fried noodle which he assumed it would be like 'mì xào dòn' judging from the menu image.While it turned out to be different from what he thought the noodle was not crispy and there was abundant of sauce the sauce was flavourful. I got the sweet and soup snapper with sautéed pineapple and cucumber and a small bowl of Tom yum.Both are tasty. We really enjoyed the meal in this nicely decorated restaurant.
I absolutely love dinning in this restaurant, great service, food and ambiance.. I want to go more often as the food is so delicious
