Have stored with Alcatraz for two years. Great facility and fantastic service. Jock has received shipments on our behalf and stored items into our units. Hellen has even provided sheets to cover items. Absolutely recommend especially, if like us, you live elsewhere.

We were away overseas for a year and chose to store the contents of our house at Alcatraz Storage because it was cheaper than other places. Unfortunately we had mice get into all our stuff. There were mouse droppings on everything, several of our children's toys were eaten, and photos and books were chewed on. It was an unpleasant surprise and we have needed to wash and clean absolutely everything to remove the droppings and smells. Many things have had to be thrown away. It would have been good if either Alcatraz Storage had put in mouse traps or poison or informed us to do this. Any money we had saved has gone on steam cleaning and replacement of things. I would recommend paying more money and going with a storage place that is more secure against rodents.
